Individualized - Evidence-Based – Solution Focused

Mental health concerns often affect more than symptoms alone. They can influence relationships,
work, focus, motivation, energy, and the way people experience everyday life. Some people seek
care because they have a clear understanding of what they're experiencing. Others simply know that
something no longer feels quite right.

At Center State Wellness, we believe psychiatric care should be thoughtful, individualized, and
grounded in evidence. We work to understand the broader picture — not simply symptoms or
diagnoses, but the factors that may be affecting how a person feels and functions.

About Center State Wellness

Our Philosophy

At Center State Wellness, we believe meaningful care begins when people are supported in returning to their center — that steadier, more grounded place that can become obscured by stress, trauma, illness, or the demands of daily life.

Many people know the feeling of being “off center.” Anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns, or unresolved experiences can pull us away from clarity, stability, and balance. When that happens, life can feel overwhelming, frustrating, or difficult to navigate.

Our role is not simply to reduce symptoms. It is to help patients better understand what they are experiencing, regain stability, restore perspective, and move forward with greater confidence.

Center State Wellness was created to expand what thoughtful psychiatric care can look like. Our clinicians combine evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management with a broader, individualized understanding of wellness. We approach each person as a whole — recognizing that effective treatment requires structure, collaboration, and respect for individual goals.

We provide telehealth mental health care throughout New Hampshire, with in-person services available when appropriate. We support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and substance use concerns.

Our care is collaborative and medically grounded. We believe progress happens when treatment is structured, clear, and aligned with each person’s needs, goals, and values.

No two people experience mental health in exactly the same way. Treatment should reflect each person's unique needs, goals, experiences, and circumstances.

Our recommendations are informed by current research, clinical experience, and thoughtful decision-making to support safe and effective care.

Our goal is practical progress — helping patients make meaningful improvements in their day-to-day lives and move toward lasting change.

Russell Howard, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Dual board-certified · Family Practice + Psychiatric Mental Health · 20+ years healthcare · 10+ years NP

Russell Howard is dual board-certified in Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health, with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and over 10 years as a Nurse Practitioner. His clinical background spans primary care, psychiatric mental health, emergency medicine, long-term care, and outpatient treatment.

He understands that people often seek psychiatric care during periods of frustration, uncertainty, or feeling stuck. Some have struggled with symptoms for years. Others are reaching out for the first time and may not know exactly how to explain what has changed — only that things feel harder than they should.

Russell takes a practical, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to treatment. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses, he works to understand the broader picture, including health concerns, life circumstances, stressors, and the patterns that may be affecting how someone feels and functions day to day.

His goal is not simply to prescribe medications, but to help patients develop thoughtful treatment plans that feel realistic, safe, and aligned with their goals. He believes that meaningful progress often begins with feeling understood and having a clearer sense of direction.

Temilola Oladotun is dual board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, bringing a broad perspective that bridges general healthcare and psychiatric care. Her background allows her to view mental health not in isolation, but as part of a larger picture that includes physical health, life stressors, and overall well-being.

She understands that emotional and mental struggles often affect many areas of life at once. Difficulty sleeping, changes in mood, stress, lack of motivation, feeling disconnected, or simply feeling unlike yourself can gradually begin affecting work, relationships, and everyday functioning.

Temilola takes an evidence-based and individualized approach to care, recognizing that no two experiences are the same. She works collaboratively with patients to understand their concerns, identify patterns that may be contributing to symptoms, and develop treatment plans that feel thoughtful, realistic, and aligned with their goals.

She believes that meaningful care begins with listening and creating an environment where patients feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and actively participating in decisions about their treatment.

Alice Kebeumen Jamen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides care for adolescents and adults. She is passionate about helping individuals improve not only their symptoms but also their overall quality of life and day-to-day functioning.

Alice understands that people seek care for many different reasons. Some may be struggling with anxiety that has slowly become overwhelming. Others may feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in patterns that are difficult to change, or simply not feeling like themselves anymore.

She believes that effective treatment begins with understanding the person behind the symptoms. Every individual brings different experiences, values, strengths, and goals into treatment, and she works closely with patients to develop plans of care that reflect those differences.

Alice takes a patient-centered and collaborative approach, creating an environment where individuals feel respected, supported, and actively involved in their care.

Sarah Mazzola is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorders, and substance use disorders.

Her background includes work in hospitals, residential programs, community mental health settings, and recovery centers, giving her experience with individuals across different stages of treatment and levels of care.

Sarah understands that mental health challenges rarely fit neatly into categories or checklists. People often come to treatment feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or discouraged after trying to manage symptoms on their own.

Known for her direct, collaborative, and compassionate approach, Sarah believes that every person is unique and that effective care should reflect that. She works closely with patients to create individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based, practical, and focused on supporting meaningful progress over time.

"Life is constantly changing, and our mental health changes with it. There are times in life when things come together, fall apart, and return to center. That cycle repeats as relationships change, our health changes, our circumstances change, and we change with them. We grow, we struggle, we recover, and we adapt.
Center State Wellness was built with that understanding. Care is not about reaching a fixed endpoint where life never becomes difficult again. It is about helping people find greater stability, navigate difficult times, and continue moving forward as life changes.

That is what Center State Wellness is here to support.”
